Youth Volunteer -- Kitchen & Garden
Ceres Community Project provides healing meals lovingly prepared by local teens and volunteer adult kitchen mentors for people with serious illnesses, including cancer. We create health for people, communities and the planet through love, healing food and empowering the next generation. Ceres has three program sites serving Marin and Sonoma counties.
Learn to prepare and cook delicious, healthy meals with a team of your peers under the guidance of a Professional Chef year round at our kitchen in San Rafael. We ask that our teen volunteers sign up for a weekly shift for a minimum of three months. Our current shifts are Wednesdays from 2:30* to 7:00 (*this start time is flexible), and Thursdays from 3pm to 7pm. Click Express Interest below for more information.
