Fun, exciting, & important NAMIWalks event in October!
Here at NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Sonoma County, we serve the whole county and help connect residents to services as well as provide free mental health related classes and support groups. One way we raise funds for our organization is by hosting our NAMIWalks Sonoma County in the fall. This year our Walk is scheduled for October 19, 2024 at Howarth Park & Spring Lake. A NAMIWalks also helps to raise awareness about mental health and create community.
We are looking for volunteers to be a part of this fun and exciting event! Do you know anyone or are yourself seeking to be a part of reducing stigma around mental health? Come join us! We are seeking volunteers for day of help, including placing signs, greeters, refreshment table assistance, and passing out water to walkers.
